Since its establishment in 2000, the company has specialized in providing integrated and customized consulting, design, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance and service solutions for industrial access systems in the most diverse sectors of activity, from industrial, logistics and commercial, to military, aeronautical and healthcare.

With solid experience and an extensive portfolio, EMI Romania provides supply, installation and maintenance services for a total area of over 5 million square meters, carrying out over 2,000 turnkey projects for more than 1,500 unique clients annually.
Consulting
In any technical project developed, EMI Romania specialists provide consulting services starting early on, in the offer inquiry stage and the technical plan or sketch phase, in order to meet the specific needs of clients and offer them integrated and tailored solutions to their problems.
Design
We carry out bespoke projects. Often, these involve tailored-to-project design by EMI Romania specialists and the manufacture in our factory of special, custom-made, unique parts or assemblies, which are essential for the integrated technical solution designed to come to pass and perform.
Manufacturing
EMI Romania has the advantage of its own factory, in Căteasca, near Pitești, a winning investment in terms of both technology and human resources. By using state-of-the-art technology from the largest international suppliers of equipment and technology in the field, the EMI Romania factory manufacturing process is up to international quality standards, whether we are talking about large series, small series, or one-off products.
Installation
The EMI Romania provides professional installation services for the full range of industrial access systems supplied, with teams of specialized technicians throughout Romania. The teams are equipped with mobile repair units stocked with spare parts so that we can quickly and efficiently provide both assembly and related services.
Maintenance

We have clients in various industries, retail, logistics and commercial centers, the military, aeronautics, and healthcare sectors. Expectations differ from client to client, as do their needs. Special Projects
In 2019 we carried out an exceptional project from all points of view, in which we equipped and fitted all the technical buildings in the Chernobyl Reactor 4 area with fireproof metal swing gates, including the sarcophagus installed a few years ago on top of the old one, erected immediately after the 1986 explosion.
Perimeter closing systems that do not require a track or rail at the bottom, self-supporting gates offer a greater advantage over gates with sliding rail systems because they can operate all year round, regardless of the weather. The challenge arises when this type of gate is required for large openings.
They are designed by EMI for manufacturers of precast concrete, metal, or other large-scale ironworks that use overhead cranes to handle products from the production hall to the outside. The installation of this type of gate leads to a substantial reduction in exposure to temperature differences in the gap created by the movement of the overhead crane, regardless of the season.
The project to remodel an underground transport depot involved refurbishing the entire façade and fitting special gates in existing voids that had to meet the new requirements, taking into account two particular conditions: at the bottom, there was a railway line, over which the gates had to pass, and at the top, there was a high voltage line (27,000 V).
Hangar doors have special technical requirements when closing gaps, depending on the size of the required gauge (whether the hangars in question are for helicopters or aircrafts), as well as the purpose of the hangar (overhaul/maintenance or repair).
